This Was Supposed to Be a Funny Post

4 Oct

… About how my brain is fried and funny anecdotes about furniture shopping.

But that is not going to be this post.

Ori Slonim, the partner of one of my closest friends, has just passed away from cancer. He was 31. Thirty-one.

I know most of you don’t know Hebrew, but I’m embedding an amazing song by both of them to honor his memory. I hope you guys take a few minutes to listen to it, because it’s beautiful no matter what language you speak.

Obviously I didn’t know this, because I can’t read the Hebrew on fb but I kind of thought something happened … now I’m so sad. I really hoped he would beat it. 😦 Give my love to the singer, please.
